Did some writing today
General No Comments »I got a little behind on my writing this week, so I stayed in today and did a lot of writing. My first project was to start writing my first e-book. It is going to be a hands on tips fro bass fishing. It is covering normal day to day routines in my boat that I use all the time. It is going to be chock full of all kinds of useful information, and it will cover bass fishing top to bottom. It should be finished up by on a few weeks and will be for sale sometime thereafter.
I also have a few articles that I need to complete for a few new interests I am pursuing. I will give some more details about that as they become finalized. Along the same topic I received an email concerning another article that I wrote that another site wants to have permission to use. I will see where this new contact leads me.
After all that writing we had a few errands to run and a meeting with the Chamber of Commerce concerning the 2009 TBf Southern Divisional we are holding. We basically went over all the contract details and worked out a game plan for the next few weeks. There needs to be a committee established, a schedule of events set, budget to be worked up and then delegate a few items to volunteers. We have been involved with 2 Southern Divisionals to date and both Alabama and North Carolina put on good events, but with this being a state event we want to really show the other states that we can put on an event that will knock their socks off. We already have a lot of great ideas to implement and with all the support we are getting from Randy Halfacre and the Lexington Chamber of Commerce it will be a hit.
After the meeting the next stop was Home Depot since the last piece of my Bio Diesel station came in I was needing a few pieces to put together the pumping station so I filled my order and came home and put it together. We had dinner at the Flight Deck and I talked to the owner and asked to use his oil and he said go ahead so pretty much everything is in line and I should be making my first batch this week.
