This has been some of the most extreme weather for practice.  We are in a part of the so called Epic Storm on the weather channel.

We have been getting just huge amounts of rain.  This morning it was raining hard and of course lots of lightning.  So we spent the day in the motel.  What a boring day.  It's not like we could go out and play with the tackle or work in the boat with it raining all day.  So we just sat here.

So for this tournament it is officially day 2 of practice and by now we would usually have close to 28 hours of practice in and we only have around 8.

We have our work cut out for us tomorrow.

Well it was back down the road this morning.  Brian picked me up around 9:00 and we were on down the road.

It was a short trip in comparison to the rest this year only 5.5 hours from my house to the Park.

We are staying in the park for a few days then moving into a house on Sunday.

Everything is good except the weather it is supposed to rain 5-7 inches over the next 2 days so there will not be much bed fishing going on in the already muddy lake.

But we will deal with what Mother Nature sends us like always.

I was not supposed to go to work today but I got a call from Dave and I had to run over to Assembly Station and check building 4000 to make certain everything was a go for drywall.

So I went over and walked the building and I did find a couple of outlets not nailed off and 1 broken phone line and one cable box off the  stud.

So I fixed them all and it is good to go again.

Then I came home and cleaned my garage.  I have been coming home from events and dumping my stuff my boat is empty and with everything else it was a disaster area.

Now my garage is all better and then I went to work on my tackle.  I have a few reels that are getting past their prime so I worked on them.  I also replaced a few eyes on some rods that were in bad need of repair.

I am still battling some kind of bug and this caugh is starting to get old.  So I ran out and picked up some medicine, hopefully this will nock it out once and for all.

I went to a pair of job sites this morning and we finished off some of the last points on each one and I was done by noon.

Then I finally got to take the garbage out.  It was a full truck load.

Laura had a doctors appointment today and come to find out she is 100% befaced and Taylor is in the birth canal.

So now all we have to do is have her water break and it will be time to give birth.  It could be today or the next or next who knows.  So I am probably going to stick around until I have to be at the tourny and skip the practice portion.

So we are back to unknowns and living on the edge for a while.  So much for a little bit of normality.  I guess one day was enough.

Today was not a very productive day for me.  I did not do much and I it kind of felt good.

I did go get a new weedeater but did not use it.  And I did unload the truck and load it up for tomorrow.

I went to the flea market and browsed through the fishing section.  I found 7 wiggle warts and an original Big "O".  I also picked up a pair of pinnacle reels to replace a few of my more aged ones.

I don't think there is a lot of work this week and I head back out of town to Eufaula on Thursday so I am going to get some sponsor work done and do a few videos.

Life is definitley not normal yet but it is getting a little more regular.
