Not enough on Okeechobee
I was boat #4 this morning and I made the trip to Okie-Tantie again. But there was a slight difference. I lost around 4 inches of water and the fish just were not there or were not biting. We worked the area and I hit one fish on a speed worm and that was the extent of it.
So I ran towards my bedding area and it was just as bad. The big girl from yesterday was gone and pretty much nobody else around.
I headed South at 10:15. I stopped in Turner’s Cove for a little while but it was too shallow to even use the trolling motor. So I bugged out of there and headed to Blue Hole. There was enough water to hold fish so we started working. I had a fish hit my frog on a long cast and when I set the hook I broke the line at the reel. So I eyeballed the water and looked for the line, I could see it up ahead and moving. So I flipped the trolling motor on high and chased it down. I got up to it and started pulling it in hand over hand. I ended up landing the 3.5 pounder and had #2 in the boat.
My co picked up his 2 fish and then I hit my third and final fish.
Weigh ins were next and I knew I would be just out of the money. I had 3 fish for 8-02 which brought my total to 15-14 and put me in 51st place. Again an Okeechobee disappointment.

Hi there,
I just wanted a question answered…you were tied at 15 pounds 14 ounces with 2 other guys. What determines the finishing order? You ended up 51st and the other 2 were 49th. and 50th?

The first tie breaker is number of fish. Then if you weighed in a big fish then it is a flip of a coin.

Ok, I just checked the results: so what you are saying is the person with the least amount of fish would be the first in the tie breaker and then did you and the other guy flip a coin? The first guy only caught 7 fish while you and the other guy caught 8. Am I correct?
Have a great day.

Here is the tie breaker rule from FLW:
The heaviest one-day catch for the tournament will break ties on day 2. If a tie remains, it will be broken first by point standings, then by total number of fish for the tournament, then by total number of live fish for the tournament and then by lottery. Ties on day 3 will be resolved by day-2 standings.
