It was actually colder this morning but not as windy.  Ice was building up in the eyes of the rods.

Aaron hit one fish in the morning but then we did not have another bite till 1:30.  I had one bite and boated my only fish of the day.

I ended up in 42 place and brought home a check.

It was cold this morning and we fished hard.  Scott hit his 5 before I had one in the boat.

He is doing something a little bit different then every one else so I can't say it here.

I hit 2 fish one a shaky head and one on a crankbait.  For a total of 3 fish 7-09 pounds.

I am in 36th place and need about 3 3/4 pounds to make the cut.  I am fishing with Aaron tomorrow and he had 20 pounds so we will be around them.

Well today was our last day on the water before the tourny.  We launched in yet another river this morning and went to work.

It was not the best morning to say we did not put a fish in the boat till 12:00.  And it was not even a keeper.  Then we hit a pair of 3 pounders on our only pattern.  And I hit one more keeper.

We drove to a different river section today and did not have much luck we worked that river till noon.

Then we loaded up and went to our main area to try refining our pattern.

We just did not connect with anything big again.  We can catch a limit but getting the big bite is what we are missing.

We will work on it some more tomorrow.  We have been invited to appear at the TBF National Championship tomorrow evening so we will only be able to fish till 5 or so.

We fished a long way from home today.  We made it to Arkansas.  But the bite just is not the quality we were looking for.

We caught a lot of fish today but if they were keepers they were just keepers and the bite we had the first day was better quality heavy 2's and three with an occasional 4.

But we did get on a very repeatable pattern in the afternoon.  And they were eating the keepers were getting more common but still no big fish.

We will continue the search tomorrow.
