I have been thinking about how to get my media page functioning the way I want it to.  I ended up making a small work around script to get my desired result.

It is not perfect I have a small issue of placement but it is something I can deal with for now.  Adding the flash player to the wordpress site is not as straight forward as straight html inclusion.  So I will keep at it until I get it perfect.

I did have trouble with 2 of my videos and could not get them to encode properly.  So my list is missing 2 for now.

It took me all day and with the help of my Wife we finally finsihed the newsletter template.  I added my sponsors email addresses to the database and I did not realize it was going to send out activation notices.  Of course these were in French, sorry about that.  But I took care of that little issue.

During the day I jumped into the boat and filled up a few of my new Falcon tackle boxes.  These things are nice.  I will be working on tackle this week and getting ready for the trip down to Okeechobee at the end of this week.

Well it has taken me almost 3 weeks to get this new site up and running, but it is finally out.  I am offering better feeds for the RSS fans, full commenting on all pages, photo feeds from my year, and my crowning achievement - my monthly newsletter.

The site is done completley in Wordpress so It is much faster than my old site.  I am still working on my new media section but I had the dealine of the 25th to be up and running so it will have to be like this until I figure it out.  The new player is working but I am having a little problem with getting it integrated in my theme.  I will get it to work… Read More
