I got up early and started packing the 5th wheel.  I had to move all my day items, PC, notebook, calendar, and stuff  like that.  The Wife had all my clothes ready so sh put them in the camper and loaded the food in also.

I hooked up and started down the road.  This trip is short in comparison to the Okeechobee trip.  I left at 7:00 and arrived at the campsite around 1:30.  There is a one hour difference for time zones so it seems like a very short trip.

We got up pretty early (4:00) and tore down camp and got on the road.

It took me 9 1/2 hours to make the trip back home and Brian had about 3 more after that.  I backed the camper into the driveway unhooked and got a call from the Wife telling me to meet her over at Laura's place.

So back on the road I went.  It was good seeing Travis and playing a little before I head out of town on Friday again.

Brian had to see if his overnight package arrived at the Post Office before he could take off.  So I got a text message around 6:30 to say he was on the way.  It takes pretty close to 3 hours to get to my house so I had a little time to wait before I had to take off.

So I said my good bye to my Wife and down the road we went.  The trip takes about 10 hours from my house and we ran into a few accidents and some after work traffic around Orlando.

But we made it to roland Martin's Marina and set up camp.  After that I cooked some Kielbasa and sauerkrout for supper.

I left my house around 3:40 and pointed North.  I got to Brian's about 6:00.  We then proceeded to load his Living the Dream rig up with both our gear.  But there is a catch, instead of shorts and t-shirts we have parks, long johns and winter gear.

We made it to Guntersville by 2:00 and started setting up camp.  We are roughing it again and tent camping to save some money.   After we had base set up I worked on my rods and got them all ready.  Then we worked on getting his side imaging sonar set up in his new boat.  Oh did I mention it was cold.  It was about 24 degrees when we were doing all of… Read More

We did not really want to leave but Kenny needed to get back so we got up around 5:15 and packed the truck up.

We were on the road by 6:00 and pointed North.  The trip was pretty quick we made it to my house around 4:00.

We are planning to leave for Guntersville sometime toward the end of next week for 3-5 days of practice there before coming back home for a few and then heading to Okeechobee for the tournament.
